24 April - 30 April 1995
Location: Tochiji Temple Auditorium P3
3340 insect-like robots were placed in a three-metre diameter circle made of metal on the floor. Equipped with solar sensors on their backs, the robots were controlled by alpha waves transmitted from the audience. Members of the audience wearing brain wave sensors were able to move the robots as they slipped into a relaxed state. A special event, Breath, was presented at the opening of the exhibition and Belgian saxophonist Eric Sleichim gave a solo performance of a one-hour improvisational play.
