9 February - 17 March 2013
Location: Nagasakibana Resort Campsite

P3 coordinated a project that involved the creation and installation of commissioned artworks at the Nagasakibana Resort Campsite.
Among them were two works by Yoko Ono. One was “Invisible Benches,” an installation of benches made of Kunisaki stone at several points at Nagasakibana. Embedded between the benches and the landscapes seen from them, were stone monuments with selected “Instructions” from Ono’s photo book Grapefruit, which was published in 1964 as a limited edition of 500. For the second work, “Wish Tree,” visitors were encouraged to participate by writing their wishes onto paper slips. These slips were then removed from the tree, and sent to Iceland, to be added to Ono’s ”Imagine Peace Tower” that is on permanent display there. Together the wished were shot up into the Arctic sky in the form of a beam of light.
Another work was “iro iro iro” by Choi Jeong-hwa, an artist known for his colorful creations. Using various seasonal flowers that local residents had grown, he built a terraced pyramid of flowers in varying colors according to the seasons.
