A variety of events across different genres such as music, film, performance and talk, were staged at Asahi Art Square (on the 4th & 5th floors of the Super Dry Hall, Asakusa; closed in March 2016) between 2002 and 2012. More than 120 events with artists from Japan and abroad made the venue widely known as a new place for cultural creation on the left bank of the Sumida River.
