Invited Artists: Twin Windows, Shingo Yamazaki, Keitetsu Murai, DJ Bing, Akita Goldman

26 April 2014
Location: P3 art and environment / P3 Project Space

P3 art and environment was launched in 1989 as part of the Bankizan Tochoji Temple's 400th anniversary celebrations. P3 served as a production organization for contemporary artistic and other creative activities, hosting numerous cutting-edge cultural events such as exhibitions by John Cage and Cai Guo-Qiang, until leaving its original home in the basement of Tochoji Temple in Yotsuya, Tokyo, in 1999. Without a fixed exhibition site after that, P3 went on to plan and produce art projects throughout Japan. Tochoji has recently asked P3 to take charge of its new cultural and social projects, as the temple is now heading in new directions.
For the 25th anniversary of the birth of P3 in Tochoji’s basement hall, we planned a party to kick off our future developments, and to introduce our new site.
